Connect on Celo

Step-by-step instructions for connecting to HaloFi

We make use of the Celo mobile-first blockchain (PoS) to run our Celo Challenges.

What is Celo?

Celo is a mobile optimized blockchain offering an accessible suite of financial tools to anyone with a cellphone or computer. Celo’s purpose is to empower anyone anywhere in the world to have access to financial services.

Learn more about Celo

Celo is a proof-of-stake blockchain. In comparison to Proof of Work systems like Bitcoin and Ethereum, this means that users can make transactions that are cheaper, faster, and whose outcome cannot be changed once complete. Celo is EVM-compatible and environmentally friendly. To learn more about Celo click here or here.

Digital tokens can easily be bridged between Celo and other blockchains. See our guides.
