Rachel has a passion for building engaging products and communities, with a wealth of experience in frontend development and developer relations. Her expertise in creating user-friendly and engaging financial tools has been invaluable in the development of HaloFi. She has previously worked on a number of well-known (blockchain) projects, including 3Box, Twilio, and Lisk. She is dedicated to making decentralized finance accessible and engaging for all.

Francis B. Odisi CO-FOUNDER | CTO | 🇺🇸 LinkedIn, Github

Francis leads the technical team at HaloFi, ensuring that our architecture is secure and scalable. As a previous full-stack software engineer and PMO, he has extensive experience leading large-scale projects and developing scaling platforms. He oversees both our in-house developers and external contractors. Francis has a proven track record of architecting secure smart contracts and previously worked at Shift Markets. He also served as a Fellow Mentor at Consensys Academy Bootcamps.

Giel Detienne CO-FOUNDER | DEFI | 🇵🇹 LinkedIn, Twitter, Degenscore

Note: no longer involved with HaloFi on a day-to-day basis. Giel brings over a decade of crypto experience, with a focus on DeFi, digital asset management, yield optimization, and research. Giel oversees the implementation of new DeFi technology and conducts research and data analytics to keep our platform on the cutting edge. His expertise and knowledge are instrumental in making informed decisions to better serve our users. Giel is passionate about using the latest trend in DeFi to help our users build wealth. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology and previously worked at Enzyme Finance, as well as a freelance Blockchain & Web3 consultant.

Lucas Camolezi FULL STACK DEVELOPER | 🇧🇷 LinkedIn, Github

Lucas is a software engineer with a passion for blockchain technology and developing decentralized applications. With a wealth of experience in full-stack development and robotics, Lucas brings a deep understanding of the latest technologies to his work at HaloFi. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering, and previously worked at several technology companies, including Amdocs and XMobots, where he honed his skills. Lucas was also selected for, and participated in the prestigious Google Summer of Code program in 2020.

Kosiso Okafor SENIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER | 🇳🇬 LinkedIn, Github Kosiso is a highly experienced software engineer with a passion for developing and implementing efficient and scalable systems. He has over 15 years of experience in full-stack web development, and excels in building scalable backend systems. At HaloFi, Kosiso is responsible for developing and maintaining our platform's infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and can handle high levels of traffic. Kosiso has a degree in Computer Science and past expertise in building tools for facial recognition using deep learning, decentralized ecommerce systems and banking backends. Rose Wanjohi is a talented front-end developer with a degree in Actuarial Science. Her background in risk mathematics, finance modeling, and data analysis bring a unique perspective to her work as a developer. Rose is committed to contributing to the tech industry through her skills and passion for writing code and solving puzzles. She is also an open-source contributor, blogger, and mentor. Rose has previous experience at Grassroots Economics.
